يعود بناء السودا إلى حوالي ثلاثة قرون مضت. |

First people came from different places inside Syria and from Lebanon,
They loved each other and lived in a harmony and peace.

وفد أهلها من مناطق متعددة من القطر وخارجه, وخاصة من
لبنان الشقيق, فعاش الجميع معا إلى جانب بعض بمحبة
وألفة وسلام.

It's situated 14 Kilometers far from
the province of Tartous in Syrian Arab Republic.
|
تسمى إدارياً
ناحية السودا، تقع في محافظة طرطوس في
الجمهورية العربية السورية، إلى الشمال الشرقي من مدينة طرطوس، وعلى بعد
حوالي / 15 / كيلومتراً منها.

Located on a hill of black stones
(Basalt) which gave it its name.

غنية بالحجارة السوداء التي
أعطتها إسمها. |

|
The
population of the village is about (1200) according
to the last census of the earlier year (2004).

عدد سكانها يبلغ حوالي الـ
/ 1200 / نسمة وفقاً للتعداد السكاني الأخير لعام 2004.

|
It
extends on a versant of a mountain that overlooks on the cardinal
points. There, you can watch the sea from the west, and mountains from
the east.

تمتد على سفح جبل مطل على
الجهات الأربع، تطل على البحر من الغرب والجبال من الشرق.

|
There
are many neighboring villages which are
administratively connected with Al-Saoda such as
Ra's Alkettan from the east, Ouro from the west, Al-brej
from the southwest towards Tartous City, Ba'ashtar
from the northwest to Tartous City, and Zamreen from
the north.

تجاورها مجموعة من القرى
التابعة لها إداريأً مثل قرية رأس الكتان من الشرق، وقرية عورو من الجنوب،
وقرية البريج من الجنوب الغربي باتجاه مدينة طرطوس، وقرية بعشتر من الشمال
الغربي باتجاه مدينة طرطوس، ومن الشمال تجاورها قرية زمرين.

Al-Saoda
town has an important geographical position. It
forms crossroads between coast and mountains towards
the Syrian interior, especially the way of Tartous-
Wadi Al'oioun- Mesiaf to the province of Hama.

وتشكل بلدة السودا عقدة
إتصال بين الساحل والجبل باتجاه الداخل السوري وخصوصاً طريق طرطوس - وادي
العيون - مصياف - باتجاه محافظة حماه نظراً لموقعها الجغرافي.

There
are many public and service utilities like a Post
Office Center, Municipality,
Clinic,
Electric Center,
Court,
Power Plant and many others.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Lately,
a branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent- Tartous
Branch was inaugurated in Al-Saoda Town.
|
وتمَّ
مؤخراً إفتتاح شعبة لمنظمة الهلال الأحمر العربي السوري فرع طرطوس
في بلدة السودا.
